As a Retail Event & Sponsorship Staff, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth through the commercialization of media assets and event initiatives. The position requires a strong commercial mindset combined with hands‑on event management experience, balancing creative execution with revenue targets.
What You’ll Work On
- Identify and develop monetization opportunities from available media assets and event platforms.
- Drive revenue by managing sales targets, performance metrics, and commercial KPIs.
- Pitch, negotiate, and close deals with brands, suppliers, agencies, and business partners.
- Develop upselling and bundling strategies, including integrated media + event packages.
- Plan and manage events end‑to‑end, from concept development to execution and post‑event evaluation.
- Oversee event setup, coordination, and on‑site execution to ensure operational excellence.
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Build and maintain strong networks with FMCG brands, distributors, and event agencies.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with internal teams such as Store Operations, General Affairs, Commercial, and Finance.
- Develop creative event concepts while maintaining a strong commercial and revenue‑driven focus.
Qualifications
- Minimum education D3/S1 in Marketing, Business, Management, Communication, Advertising, or Public Relations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event management, commercial roles, or related fields.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven, revenue‑driven mindset.
- Demonstrated experience in sales pitching, negotiation, and deal closing.
- Hands‑on experience managing events end‑to‑end.
- Strong coordination and project management skills.
- Well‑established network within FMCG brands, distributors, and/or event agencies (highly preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Background or basic understanding of Hospitality and Visual Communication Design for media placement and event visuals is an advantage.
