Qualifications

• Experience in retail inventory planning or distribution planning.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of fashion or FMCG retail is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and allocation software.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales data, inventory levels and store performance for optimal stock allocation.
• Develop allocation strategies balancing demand with inventory investment.
• Monitor turnover and adjust allocations to improve product flow.
• Collaborate with merchandising, store operations and supply chain teams.
• Prepare allocation reports and forecasts for management decisions.
• Identify trends to inform future allocation planning.
• Manage inventory levels to reduce overstock and prevent stockouts.
• Utilise allocation systems to execute distribution strategies.
• Support seasonal planning and promotional campaigns.
