Job summary

Sunrecruit is seeking a visionary Remote Director of Strategic Planning to lead long-term strategy for its global operations. You will shape opportunities, assess markets, and translate analyses into actionable initiatives in a fully remote role based ideally in Indonesia.

You will work with executive leadership to align initiatives across units, build financial models, and drive growth while maintaining strong communication in a distributed team.

Qualifications

• MBA or related Master's degree required.
• 10+ years in strategic planning, corporate development, or management consulting.
• Significant senior leadership experience in a remote setting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data-driven insights.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams remotely.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with financial modeling, market analysis, and strategy tools.
• Global business awareness and remote project management experience.
• Ability to work independently with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and refinement of the company's long-term strategic vision and annual operating plans.
• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to identify opportunities and threats.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives and investments.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to ensure alignment and execution.
• Monitor the implementation of strategic plans and adjust as needed for outcomes.
• Facilitate strategic planning workshops and cross-functional team meetings.
• Identify KPIs to track progress against strategic goals.
• Communicate strategic direction and progress to internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Drive innovation and adoption of new business models.
• Evaluate potential partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions aligned with objectives.
