Oyster, a global employment platform delivering remote work opportunities across 60+ countries, is hiring for an automation-focused role. You’ll turn complex payroll information into reliable, automated workflows, using n8n, Alteryx, SQL, APIs, and AI.

You’ll own defined automation projects from conception through launch and ongoing improvements, aligning with Payroll and Operations teams to ensure accurate, compliant payroll cycles across countries.

Competenze

• 3+ years of relevant experience in operations automation, process improvement, or payroll operations.
• Experience building automations and taking workflows into production.
• Experience using LLMs to solve practical problems and turn unstructured data into usable information.
• Comfort connecting systems via APIs, webhooks, and integrations.
• Ability to turn complex requirements into clear data rules and validation checks.

Mansioni

• Understand payroll processes from start to finish, mapping data flow and validation points.
• Identify repetitive tasks and assess impact, feasibility, and cross-country applicability.
• Improve processes by removing unnecessary steps and preventing missing information or errors.
• Translate policies into documented, version-controlled logic with effective dates and data requirements.
• Turn requests into practical, automated workflows using n8n, Alteryx, SQL, and APIs.
