Job summary

Pt. Graha Layar Prima is seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer with expertise in site development to join our fully remote team.

You will design site plans, grading, drainage, and utility layouts for diverse development projects, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools, while collaborating with remote teammates and clients. The ideal candidate has at least six years of experience in site development, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and strong communication skills to support

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in site development and civil design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of stormwater management principles and local regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
• Proficiency in CAD software and stormwater modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utility design, and permitting processes.
• Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for virtual team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design site plans, including grading, drainage, utility layouts, and erosion control.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management systems.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain permits and approvals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and consultants in a remote setting.
• Review construction submittals and RFIs during construction.
• Design site layouts and utility infrastructure for development projects.
• Prepare civil drawings, specifications, and calculations for permitting and construction.
• Conduct site analysis including topography, soils, and environmental considerations.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with remote project teams and agencies throughout design/approval process.
• Provide technical support for site development challenges.
