Job summary

Pt. Graha Layar Prima (Cgv) is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer focused on Plant Layout and Design. You will conceptualize and optimize layouts, placing equipment and materials for efficient production, safety, and throughput. Utilize CAD tools to draft designs and run simulations to validate arrangements in a remote setting.

The role requires 6+ years in industrial engineering, strong CAD and simulation skills, and the ability to collaborate with virtual teams across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in industrial engineering with emphasis on plant layout and material flow.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor or similar).
• Experience with simulation software (FlexSim, Arena) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety, and ergonomics.
• Excellent remote communication and ability to manage multiple design projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed plant layouts considering flow and material handling.
• Use CAD software to create and revise plant designs and schematics.
• Analyze production data to optimize equipment and workstation configurations.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and ergonomic standards.
• Collaborate virtually with project managers, design teams, and external consultants.
• Perform simulations to test layout effectiveness and anticipate issues.
• Support feasibility studies and cost requests for new facilities or extensions.
• Maintain documentation of all design processes and revisions.
• Evaluate new technologies or equipment for integration into plant designs.
