Job summary

Pt. Graha Layar Prima seeks a Remote Industrial Engineer to lead plant layout and design initiatives. You will develop conceptual and detailed layouts, optimize material flow, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a remote setting.

You will use CAD tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks, run simulations with FlexSim or Arena, and collaborate with global teams. Bachelor's in IE/ME with 6+ years of experience required; strong analytic and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years in industrial engineering with emphasis on plant layout and material flow.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Experience with simulation software (FlexSim, Arena) is highly desirable.
• Understanding of safety standards (OSHA) and ergonomic design.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed plant layouts focusing on production flow and equipment placement.
• Utilize CAD software to create and revise plant designs and schematics.
• Analyze production data to optimize equipment and workstation configurations.
• Ensure designs comply with safety regulations and ergonomic principles.
• Collaborate virtually with project managers and design teams across locations.
• Perform simulations to test layout effectiveness and identify issues.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and CAPEX requests for new facilities.
• Maintain documentation of design processes and revisions.
