Job summary

Cotecna is seeking an Area Manager to lead and oversee all operational activities within the assigned area, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery. This role focuses on performance, resource planning, client relationships, and supervision of field personnel.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in TIC with leadership experience, a strong network with authorities and clients, and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marine, Agriculture, Science, Business, Management, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the TIC industry, including experience in operational leadership or supervisory roles.
• Experience in Agriculture, Coal, or Mineral inspection is preferred.
• Good understanding of operational practices, inspection processes, and the business environment within the assigned area.
• Well-established network with clients, government institutions, port authorities, and other relevant stakeholders is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operational activities within the assigned area to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize manpower, equipment, and operational resources to meet client requirements.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to achieve productivity, quality, and service objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government authorities, business partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, applicable regulations, and HSE standards.
• Supervise, coach, and develop operational personnel to enhance competency and operational effectiveness.
• Support business development activities by identifying business opportunities and providing operational input for new projects and tenders.
• Prepare operational reports, analyze performance, and provide recommendations to Management for continuous improvement.
