Job summary

Swiss-Belhotel International is seeking an Internal Auditor to conduct regular operational audits across its properties in Indonesia. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to policies, SOPs, and HACCP standards, covering Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Security, Engineering and HR.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Hospitality or related field, is a certified auditor, and willing to travel to hotel sites to review processes, report findings, and propose improvements to regional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certified Auditor with recognised qualification in audit procedures and practices.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality industry standards.
• Good understanding of hotel safety and security requirements.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety management.
• Good understanding of hotel legal compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to identify operational gaps and potential risks.
• Strong report writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, objective, and able to maintain professional integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and travel regularly to hotel properties as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular operational audits across Swiss-Belhotel International hotels to ensure proper implementation and compliance with company policies, standards, and SOPs.
• Review and evaluate end-to-end hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Security, Engineering and Human Resources departments.
• Monitor the implementation of safety and security standards, ensuring a safe environment for guests, employees, and visitors.
• Conduct audits on HACCP implementation and food safety practices, ensuring proper food handling, storage, preparation, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Conduct audits on Food & Beverage operational implementation for product and service standard.
• Conduct audits for overall housekeeping operations to ensure all housekeeping tasks and projects are in place; review housekeeping budget and inventory.
• Conduct audits for overall Safety and Security standards and implementation, including building and utility conditions and maintenance programs.
• Review hotel compliance with applicable legal requirements, including business licenses, operational permits, and other regulatory documentation.
• Prepare, compile, and maintain comprehensive audit reports, including findings, observations, risk assessments, and recommendations.
• Report audit findings to the Regional Director of Operations & Development and coordinate with the Regional Operations Manager to review results and corrective actions.
• Follow up on previous audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained by hotel management.

Job description

• Reviewhotel compliance with applicable legal requirements, including businesslicences, operational permits, and other relevant regulatory documentation.
• Prepare,compile, and maintain comprehensive audit reports, including audit findings,observations, risk assessments, and recommendations.
• Reportaudit findings directly to the Regional Director of Operations &Development and coordinate with the Regional Operations Manager to reviewresults and discuss recommended corrective actions.
• Followup and monitoring on previous audit findings to ensure that corrective actionshave been properly implemented and sustained by hotel management.

Requirements
