Swiss-Belhotel International in Jakarta is seeking a seasoned Credit Controller to review credit applications, manage aging analysis, and ensure timely collections across hotel properties. You will liaise with clients, prepare correspondence, and maintain AR metrics while upholding credit policy.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years in credit control or accounts receivable within hospitality. WFO environment offered with career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of credit management, aging analysis, collection procedures, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing credit control operations across multiple hotel properties is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review credit applications and assess clients' financial condition.
• Check aging reports and ensure posted payments align; follow up on discrepancies.
• Coordinate with A/R to obtain invoices and confirm client receipt; monitor payment schedules.
• Conduct weekly follow-ups with clients regarding payment status.
• Send reminders per credit policy and pursue collections.
• Inform supervisor of slow payers or difficult clients.
• Prepare correspondence with clients as needed.
• Maintain days-uncollected A/R at a minimum.

Description du poste

• Review credit application received from clients and check the client’s financial condition.
• Check the aging report produced by A/R daily, in terms of aging, payment received is posted and checking for any differences, which need constant follow up.
• Obtain report from A/R regarding the invoice and send to the clients and follow up if clients has received the invoice and follow up on the payment schedule.
• Do periodical follow up (weekly) to clients regarding the status of payment.
• Send reminders to clients as per credit policy and follow up payments.
• To inform his/her Supervisor in case of slow payer or difficult clients.
• Prepare correspondence with clients as needed.
• Maintan the level of days of uncollected A/R at the minimum.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Finance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of credit management, accounts receivable, aging analysis, collection procedures, credit risk assessment, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing or monitoring credit control operations across multiple hotel properties or business units is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
