Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an experienced Area General Manager to lead the operational and financial performance of Dreamland Resort, Bali, and support regional resort operations.

This role delivers exceptional guest and owner experiences, drives commercial results, and leads high-performing teams. You will oversee daily operations, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure compliance with health & safety standards while developing leadership across departments.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or vacation ownership.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Experience managing multiple departments or properties.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, maintenance, housekeeping, and food & beverage.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Experience with Hotel PMS systems (Micros Fidelio, Hirum, or similar preferred).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and compliance requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and overall performance of Dreamland Resort and assigned regional properties.
• Drive guest satisfaction, owner engagement, and service excellence.
• Manage resort budgets, forecasts, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop departmental leaders and resort teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, guests, vendors, tourism partners, and local communities.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain brand and operational standards.
• Support sales, marketing, and yield management strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and month-end processes.
• Represent the company in Body Corporate and stakeholder meetings where applicable.
