Job summary

Novonesis seeks a Business Development Manager – Industrial for Southeast Asia to drive growth across Oils & Fats and related sectors, translating insights and technology into measurable business impact across multiple countries.

You will collaborate with Account Managers and Industry Technology Specialists to build pipelines, develop robust business cases, and advance opportunities to commercial success. This regional role is Jakarta-based with hybrid work and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, science, engineering, or another relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in business development, commercial project leadership, sales, or account management.
• Experience within Oils & Fats, biodiesel and bioethanol, or grain processing industries.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into compelling business value and customer propositions.
• Experience working across multiple countries, cultures, and functions.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional growth projects linked to Oils & Fats Must‑Win Battles and regional growth priorities.
• Build and convert the opportunity pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and prioritizing opportunities with Account Managers and Industry Technology Specialists.
• Develop business cases and growth plans, including customer engagement strategies and clear value propositions.
• Strengthen customer engagement by uncovering unmet needs and translating market insights into opportunities.
• Accelerate commercialization by removing barriers to adoption, establishing ownership, and supporting opportunities to implementation.
• Create scalable approaches that can be leveraged across customers and markets while fostering collaboration across teams.
