Job summary

Vistra is seeking an Assistant Manager, Accounting Services to join our Indonesia team. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Client Accounting and focuses on delivering accurate financial statements and robust internal controls for regional clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accountancy with 4–5 years of experience, including consulting. Strong collaboration and leadership skills are essential to mentor teams and support service delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
• 4–5 years of accounting experience, preference for candidates from a consulting background.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and reconciliations.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and developing large teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually) in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., PSAK/IFRS).
• Ensure financial data integrity, including that books and records conform to legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review working paper reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Lead and perform ad-hoc accounting tasks and special projects, including audits and internal reviews.
• Oversee and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of internal accounting administrative processes.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Stay up to date with the latest accounting regulations and policies (e.g., PSAK/IFRS) and implement necessary changes.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their performance, technical skills, and professional growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required to support departmental and company objectives.
