Job summary

Vistra in Jakarta is seeking a seasoned Head of Tax Services to lead Indonesia's tax practice, spanning corporate and international tax, transfer pricing, and dispute resolution, with regional coverage. You will oversee advisory, planning, and compliance, guide client engagements, develop growth strategies, and mentor a high-performance team to deliver compliant, value-driven tax solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in tax consulting and services.
• Strong technical tax expertise with transfer pricing knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead growth, revenue targets, and client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow Indonesia tax department covering advisory, compliance, and disputes.
• Provide tax consulting in compliance, planning and strategy; assist audits and disputes.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and new business development.
• Own client assignments and portfolios; drive revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities ethically and compliantly.
• Manage bids, pitches, and proposals for new business opportunities.
• Provide guidance on updates to Indonesian tax regulations and restructuring.
• Serve as escalation point for tax engagements and mentorship for the team.
• Build succession plans, retain talent, and coach staff quarterly.
• Research tax issues on transactions; share insights monthly with the team.
• Foster a High Performance Compliance & Ethics culture.
