Job summary

PT Rinnai Indonesia is seeking a talented R&D Drafter Staff to join our R&D team on a full-time basis in Tangerang, Banten. You will provide drafting support, creating 2-D/3-D drawings and BOM, and help drive product development from design to production.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or similar), and at least 2 years' experience in manufacturing drafting, along with strong detail orientation and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD tools like SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in drafting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in product development stages and MS Office.
• Knowledge of mould making stages and assembly production.
• Strong engineering knowledge, drafting standards, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• ISO standards knowledge is a plus.

About the role

PT Rinnai Indonesia is seeking a talented R&D Drafter Staff to join our R&D team on a full-time basis in Tangerang, Banten. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing technical drafting support to our Research and Development department. As a skilled drafter, you will play a crucial part in bringing our innovative product designs to life, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-quality technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
• Drawing parts to product assembly in 2-D and 3-D, and determine and arrange Bill of Material (BOM).
• Control product development, coordinate with team, starting from product design, prototyping, mould making stages, trial, mass production up to monitoring problems.
• Make various product development documents, specification, Work instruction for Production and others.
• Provide technical support and advice to manufacturing and production teams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest drafting techniques and technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and procedures.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, or equivalent engineering design tools.
• Working experience minimal 2 (two) years in similar function or position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in product development stages and & Ms Office literate.
• Having knowledges in stages of mould making (press) and assembly manufacture production process.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical specifications, and drafting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a desire to continuously improve processes.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is a plus.
