China Construction First Group Corporation Limited is seeking an MEP Drafter to join our team in Cikarang Barat, Jawa Barat. This full-time role focuses on creating detailed MEP drawings and documentation for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support large-scale construction projects.

You will work with engineers to translate design specs into accurate drawings, ensure compliance with local codes, and maintain drawing libraries.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) with proven experience producing technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing.
• Knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in Indonesia.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering Drafting, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an MEP drafter or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings and schematics using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications.
• Ensure drawings comply with codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Create construction documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for MEP systems.
• Maintain and update drawing libraries and project documentation.
• Conduct quality checks and revisions for accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure integrated design solutions.
• Assist in preparation of tender documents and specification sheets.
• Support site teams by providing clarity on technical drawings and as-built documentation.

About the role

China Construction First Group Corporation Limited is seeking a talented MEP Drafter to join our engineering team in Cikarang Barat, Jawa Barat. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our construction and engineering operations. As an MEP Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and documentation for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role is essential to ensuring that our construction projects are executed to the highest standards and comply with all relevant regulations and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings and schematics using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and translate them into accurate technical drawings
• Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, industry standards, and project requirements
• Create construction documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for MEP systems
• Maintain and update drawing libraries and project documentation in an organised manner
• Conduct quality checks and revisions to ensure accuracy and consistency across all drawings
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure integrated design solutions
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and specification sheets as required
• Support site teams by providing clarity on technical drawings and assisting with as-built documentation

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar MEP design tools) with proven experience in producing technical drawings
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, including mechanical HVAC systems, electrical distribution, and plumbing networks
• Knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to construction in Indonesia
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and precise technical documentation
• Diploma or degree in Engineering Drafting, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an MEP drafter or similar role in construction or engineering environments
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) practices is preferred
