Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Karawang, Indonesia to manage cost estimation and financial control across the project lifecycle. You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare BOQs, budgets, tender pricing, and contract valuations while coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years in Quantity Surveying, cost estimation, or project cost control in construction/MEP sectors.
• Hands-on in quantity take-offs, BOQ prep, budgeting, tender pricing, and cost estimation.
• Experience in contract valuation, progress payments, variation orders, and final settlements.
• Ability to read drawings (architectural, structural, MEP) and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and cost analysis; familiarity with BIM-based take-offs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and verify quantities for architectural, structural, steel, and MEP works and prepare BOQ.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and tender quotations including all cost items.
• Review contract provisions related to quantities, unit prices, payments, and settlements; maintain cost registers.
• Identify deviations, analyze causes, and suggest cost-control measures.
• Prepare progress payment apps and coordinate with owners, contractors, and auditors.
• Manage design changes, site instructions, and variation orders with impact on budgets.
• Coordinate with procurement to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with BIM teams to verify model-based quantities against budgets.
• Maintain and archive budgets, quotations, contracts, and final settlements documents.
