Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation and financial control across construction projects in Indonesia. You will perform BOQ preparation, budgeting, tender pricing, and contract valuation while coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and owners.

Strong Excel and CAD skills with familiarity of Glodon/Luban and BIM-based take-offs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 2–3 years in QS, cost estimation, or cost control within construction/MEP projects.
• Hands-on experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ, budgeting, tender pricing, and cost estimation.
• Experience in contract valuation, progress payments, variation orders, and final settlements.
• Ability to read architectural/structural/MEP drawings and coordinate with teams.
• Strong knowledge of quantity measurement, cost estimation principles, and commercial practices.
• Proficient in budgeting, tender pricing, material cost analysis, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD; familiarity with Glodon/Luban; BIM take-offs is a plus.
• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and verify quantities for architectural, structural, steel, and MEP works; prepare BOQ.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and tender quotations covering all expenses.
• Review contracts related to quantities, unit prices, payment terms, and settlements; maintain cost registers.
• Identify deviations, analyze causes, and recommend cost-control measures.
• Prepare progress payment applications and coordinate with owners, contractors, and auditors.
• Manage design changes, site instructions, and variation orders; evaluate impact on budgets.
• Estimate material requirements, compare quotes, and coordinate with procurement for cost-effective buying.
• Coordinate with BIM teams to verify model quantities and reconcile with budgets.
• Maintain and archive budgets, quotations, contracts, variation records, and final settlements.
