Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a client in Karawang, Indonesia. The role focuses on cost estimation, budgeting, BOQ preparation, tender pricing, contract valuation, and final settlements to ensure project profitability.

You will work with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams to monitor budgets, assess changes, and manage variation orders, while maintaining accurate commercial documentation.

Qualifications

• BS in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 2–3 years in QS / cost control in construction/MEP.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, BOQ, budgeting, tender pricing, and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in Excel and cost analysis; familiarity with BIM/CAD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and verify quantities for architectural, structural, MEP works; prepare BOQ.
• Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and tender quotations for labour, materials, and equipment.
• Review contract provisions on prices, payments, and settlements; maintain cost registers.
• Identify deviations, analyze causes, and propose cost-control measures.
• Prepare progress payment applications and coordinate payments with stakeholders.
• Manage documentation for design changes and variation orders; assess impact on budgets.
• Estimate material requirements; compare supplier quotes; coordinate with procurement.
• Collaborate with BIM teams to verify model quantities against budgets and requirements.
• Maintain and archive budgets, quotes, contracts, and variations for traceability.
