JAC Recruitment is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial activities on MEP engineering and building services projects. The role covers cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tender evaluation, and budget monitoring throughout project delivery.

The candidate will review drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective cost control and smooth project execution.

Qualificações

• Experience in quantity surveying or cost management for MEP engineering and building services projects
• Ability to prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities
• Ability to review engineering drawings, technical specifications, tender documents, and subcontractor quotations
• Strong coordination skills for working with project managers, engineering teams, procurement teams, subcontractors, and clients

Responsabilidades

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities for MEP engineering and building services projects
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents to determine project quantities and costs
• Prepare and evaluate tender submissions, subcontractor quotations, and cost proposals
• Monitor project budgets, expenditure, and cost variations to maintain effective cost control
• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims, invoices, and payment applications
• Manage variation orders and assess the cost implications of changes in project scope
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, procurement teams, subcontractors, and clients on project costing and commercial matters

The Quantity Surveyor role supports effective commercial and cost management across Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering and building services projects. The position covers quantity take-offs, cost estimation, tender evaluation, budget monitoring, and variation management throughout project delivery.
