Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Strong understanding of BOQ and cost estimation.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating tools.
• Able to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience handling supplier/subcontractor quotations and tender docs.
• Detail-oriented with accurate quantity and cost calculations.

• Support value engineering to achieve competitive project costs.
• Maintain documentation and records of estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.

This role involves preparing detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements. You will review architectural, structural, MEP, and other technical documents to identify project scope and quantities, and prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and commercial proposals.

Support value engineering initiatives to achieve competitive and commercially viable project costs.

Maintain proper documentation and records of estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.

About you

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Cost Engineer, or similar role in the construction industry.

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Strong understanding of BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimation, and construction pricing.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating tools/software.

Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Experience handling supplier/subcontractor quotations and tender documentation.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in quantity and cost calculations.

Ability to understand construction drawings, specifications, and methods of construction.

Good commercial awareness and understanding of construction costs.

Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with project and commercial teams.
