Job summary

PT. Alcotraindo Batam is seeking a Quality Engineer to own the technical backbone of the quality function, including the CI Laboratory, the quality management system and supplier and material quality. You will report to the Manager, Quality within Manufacturing Excellence & Quality.

This role will lead calibration, data integrity, internal audits and CAPA, and be present on the production floor during trials and NPI to ensure product meets specifications and visual standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or a related science.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing quality.
• Experience with supplier quality management and documented audits.
• Laboratory management or supervision experience.
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and professional working English for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the CI Laboratory: test schedule, shift coverage and sample throughput.
• Maintain the controlled document system: specs, procedures, forms and revision control.
• Manage supplier quality performance and supplier corrective actions.
• Lead New Material Testing and NPI-related testing and reporting.
• Provide quality engineering input to trials, brand changes and equipment changes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure findings are closed.
