Job summary

NOV in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee day-to-day quality activities in our facility. The role requires a degree, 2+ years in quality control, and experience with ISO 9001 and API Q1 QMS.

You will lead inspections, calibration, document control, NDT coordination, training, and teamwork, communicating effectively at all levels in English, under pressure, and self-motivated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.

Quality Supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Supervisor, Quality Officer, or in a similar role.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and API Q1 Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience in supervising and performing day-to-day Quality activities, including inspection, calibration, document control, NDT control, and third-party inspection/coordination.
• Certification in NDT and/or Welding Inspection will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of pipe-related industry standards will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Able to conduct presentations and training sessions.
• Computer literate with good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all applicable quality requirements are met and oversee the day-to-day implementation of Quality activities within the facility’s operations.
