Job summary

Nov Inc is seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee daily quality activities and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and API Q1 QMS. The role requires coordinating inspections, calibration, document control, and NDT-related tasks, with NDT/Welding inspection certification being advantageous.

The candidate should have strong communication, training abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Supervisor/Officer or similar role.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001 and API Q1 QMS.
• Experience in day-to-day Quality activities: inspection, calibration, document control, NDT control, and third-party inspection coordination.
• NDT and/or Welding Inspection certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean principles is a plus.
• Knowledge of pipe-related industry standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication across all levels; able to deliver training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Quality activities within the facility's operations.
• Ensure all applicable quality requirements are met and maintained.
• Supervise inspections, calibrations, and document control activities.
• Coordinate NDT controls and third-party inspections as needed.
• Provide presentations and training sessions to staff.

• Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and API Q1 Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience in supervising and performing day-to-day Quality activities, including inspection, calibration, document control, NDT control, and third-party inspection/coordination.
• Certification in NDT and/or Welding Inspection will be an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Able to conduct presentations and training sessions.
• Computer literate with good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
