Job summary

PT. SOLUSI EKSPLORASI REMBULAN UTAMA in West Jakarta is seeking a QA/QC Lead to define testing strategy, standards, and release readiness criteria across software platforms.

You will lead a QC team, design project and release level test plans, and oversee defect management and risk assessment. The role requires a minimum S1 in CS/IS, at least 5 years in software QA/QC with 2 years in leadership, hands-on testing across API, UI, and non-functional tests, and strong collaboration with development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software QA/QC with 2 years of leadership.
• Proficient in QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with test automation and API testing.

Responsibilities

• Define testing strategy, standards, and procedures (QA/QC framework).
• Develop project and release-level testing plans and allocate QC resources.
• Lead, mentor, and assess QC team performance.
• Review and approve test plans and test scenarios.
• Manage defect triage, severity, and verification.
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression, UAT, and non-functional testing.
• Develop test automation and CI/CD integration with development team.
• Oversee end-to-end financial transaction testing (payments, settlement, reconciliation).
• Ensure API-based and file-based (SFTP/FTP) integrations are tested.
• Provide go/no-go recommendations for production releases.

Job description

This role leads QA/QC strategy, standards, and procedures for software testing frameworks, including definition of done and release readiness criteria. The position involves designing project and release-level testing plans, managing QC team performance and development, and overseeing defect management across functional, integration, regression, UAT, and non-functional testing (performance and security). The role includes hands‑on involvement in critical, complex, or high-risk technical work alongside delegation and oversight responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and set testing strategy, standards, and procedures (QA/QC framework), including definition of done and release readiness criteria
• Develop project and release-level testing plans: effort estimation, scheduling, and QC team resource allocation
• Lead, mentor, and assess QC team member performance, and develop team competency development plans
• Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test scenarios prepared by the team
• Manage defect management comprehensively: triage, priority and severity assignment, escalation, and final verification
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression, UAT, and non-functional testing (performance and security)
• Develop test automation implementation and its integration into the CI/CD pipeline with the development team
• Design and oversee end‑to‑end financial transaction testing: payments, settlement, reconciliation, cancellations, and failure scenarios (timeout, duplicate transactions, partial failure)
• Ensure testing of third‑party system integrations, both API‑based and file exchange (SFTP/FTP), including data accuracy in settlement and reconciliation reports
• Provide go/no‑go recommendations for production release based on test results, open defect status, and risk assessment

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software QA/QC, including at least 2 years leading a team
• Proficient in software testing methodologies and SDLC, and their application within Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Able to develop testing strategy, release‑level test plans, and establish measurable quality metrics and criteria
• Experienced with test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) and CI/CD integration
• Proficient in API testing and database testing (SQL) for data verification and tracing
• Familiar with test management and issue tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, Postman, or similar)
• Understanding of non‑functional testing, particularly performance and security testing
• Strong leadership, team coaching, priority management, and cross‑functional communication skills, including client interaction
• Able to communicate technically in English
