Job summary

AMARTEK mencari Senior Tester untuk menganalisis kebutuhan bisnis dan teknis, merancang skenario serta test script yang komprehensif.

Peran ini mencakup pengujian fungsional, integrasi, sistem, regresi, API, DB, kinerja serta otomasi, dengan dukungan pada lingkungan Waterfall maupun Agile.

Qualifications

• Gelar sarjana dari universitas terkemuka; bidang STEM diutamakan.
• IPK minimal 2,75 dari skala 4,00.

Responsibilities

• Menganalisis kebutuhan perangkat lunak dan bisnis untuk merancang skenario/test case/test script yang komprehensif.
• Mengulas FSD/TSD untuk memastikan cakupan pengujian memadai.
• Melakukan pengujian fungsional, integrasi, sistem, regresi, API, basis data, kinerja, dan otomasi.
• Menjalankan aktivitas pengujian di proyek Waterfall maupun Agile.
• Menggunakan alat manajemen tes untuk mengelola test cases, eksekusi, dan dokumentasi tes.
• Mengembangkan dan memelihara skrip otomatis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengujian.
• Melakukan API dan Database Testing untuk validasi fungsionalitas dan integritas data.
• Menerapkan test pada aplikasi/sistem berbasis AS400.
• Mengidentifikasi, mendokumentasikan, melacak, dan menindaklanjuti defects.
• Bekerja sama dengan pengembang dan analis bisnis untuk menyelesaikan isu.
• Menerapkan pendekatan risk-based testing untuk prioritisasi aktivitas.

Job description

DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Review and understand Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Technical Specification Documents (TSD) to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, API, database, performance, and automation testing based on project requirements.
• Execute testing activities across Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies.
• Utilize Test Management Tools to manage test cases, test execution, defect tracking, and testing documentation.
• Perform Performance Testing and analyze test results to identify potential performance issues.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct API Testing and Database Testing to validate system functionality, data integrity, and system integration.
• Perform testing and validation on AS400-based applications/systems.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other technical teams to resolve identified issues.
• Apply risk-based testing approaches to prioritize testing activities and identify potential risks.
• Ensure testing activities comply with defined QA standards, testing strategies, and project requirements.
• Support testing for banking and digital banking applications, including Wealth Management Systems or similar banking systems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive test reports, defect reports, and testing documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project quality and timely delivery.
• As a Senior Tester, lead and coordinate QA activities, provide guidance to junior testers, and review their testing deliverables.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and automation practices in line with current QA standards and technologies.

KUALIFIKASI MINIMUM

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) from a recognized university, preferably majoring in: Mathematics / Physics, Information Technology, including Computer Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Systems, or Information Technology
• Minimum GPA of 2.75 out of 4.00

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Middle Tester in the Banking industry

Hard Skills & Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of the contents and purpose of Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Technical Specification Documents (TSD).

Testing Tools & Techniques

• Proficient in using Test Management Tools.
• Proficient in using Performance Testing Tools.
• Proficient in Automation Testing.
• Understanding of API Testing and Database Testing concepts.
• Able to operate and work with AS400 systems.

Domain Experience & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of banking business processes, particularly digital banking products.
• Experience working with Wealth Management Systems or similar banking systems.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong problem-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of risk-based testing and risk mitigation strategies in software testing.

Certifications

• IT Quality Assurance certification is preferred.
• Up-to-date knowledge of QA practices, testing methodologies, and related technologies.
