Job summary

Gold Coin Indonesia - Aboitiz Foods invites a QA staff to its Lampung plant to help ensure raw materials and finished goods meet quality and feed safety standards. You will support production by performing inspections, NIR analysis, and documentation of daily QA activities.

Requires a D3 in Biology, Chemistry, or Fisheries, at least 1 year of related experience, knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems, and familiarity with ERP and safety reporting databases.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (D3) in Biology, Chemistry, or Fisheries.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• Strong understanding of the Food Safety Management System.
• Experience with raw material characteristics, especially shrimp feed ingredients, and RM/FP quality inspection.
• Proficient in MS Office and safety reporting database software.
• ERP systems experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Verify quality and safety of raw materials and products via specs, physical/chemical checks, and NIR analysis.
• Inspect production storage, monitor stock age, coordinate cleanliness, and report issues for re-analysis.
• Communicate quality concerns with supervisors and teams; perform homogeneity tests and assist sample preparation.
• Ensure finished products meet standards through traceability, feed, and safety compliance.
• Document daily/monthly QA reports and coordinate with departments on feed quality issues.

Job Summary

The QA staff assists in implementing necessary oversight, ensuring that raw materials and produced goods meet quality and feed safety standards. QA staff contribute to smooth production processes by effectively, efficiently, and comprehensively supporting tasks within the QA Department. This position will be based at Gold Coin’s Lampung plant.

Job Description

• Ensure the quality and safety of raw materials and products by verifying specifications, conducting physical and chemical checks, and operating NIR equipment for analysis and calibration.
• Maintain quality during production and storage by inspecting incoming products and stock, coordinating warehouse cleanliness, monitoring stock age, and reporting issues for re-analysis.
• Communicate with supervisors and production teams on any quality concerns, conduct regular homogeneity tests, ensure accurate formula execution, and assist in sample preparation.
• Ensure finished products meet standards by verifying traceability, feed, and food safety compliance.
• Document daily and monthly reports for the QA Supervisor and coordinate with departments on any feed quality issues.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Associate's Degree (D3) in Biology, Chemistry, or Fisheries
• Minimum 1 years of work experience in related roles
• Strong understanding of the Food Safety Management System.
• Possess experience and knowledge related to the characteristics of Raw Materials, particularly shrimp feed ingredients, and understand the inspection handling process for RM and FP quality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-specific software, including database software for safety reporting.
• Prior experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Skilled in operating NIR equipment (preferred).
• Proven administrative, leadership, and management abilities in strategic planning and organizational development.
• Willing to work shifts if needed.
• Willing to be placed in Lampung.
