Job summary

MANE seeks a senior quality assurance leader to oversee QMS/FSMS, GMP Cosmetic, and HAS compliance across our Indonesia operations. You will build and maintain audit programs, drive CAPA, and coordinate supplier quality activities with a cross-functional team.

The role demands a minimum 10 years in QA/Quality Management in flavour, fragrance, or food-related industries, with strong regulatory knowledge and leadership capabilities. Fluency in English and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering).
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QMS experience in flavour/fragrance, FMCG, or food/chemical industries.
• Advanced knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001), FSMS (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP), GMP, ISO 22716.
• Strong internal auditing guidelines knowledge (ISO 19011) and experience.
• Knowledge of flavour/fragrance regulations and Halal Assurance System (HAS).
• Strong change management, risk assessment, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of QMS, FSMS, GMP Cosmetic, and HAS.
• Ensure ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 22716 and Halal compliance.
• Develop and manage internal audit programs; coordinate external audits; close audit findings and CAPA.
• Manage change control processes, risk assessments, and documentation for compliant changes.
• Oversee supplier audits and supplier qualification against regulatory standards.
• Coordinate customer complaint investigations and corrective actions; address quality/regulatory requests.
• Monitor quality metrics, customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team to meet objectives.

Job description

Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), GMP Cosmetic, and Halal Assurance Systems in compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and company requirements.

Ensure compliance with relevant standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 22716, and Halal Assurance System (HAS).

Develop and manage internal audit programs, coordinate external audits, and ensure timely follow-up of audit findings and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Manage change control processes, risk assessments, and documentation to ensure compliance and effective implementation of changes affecting quality, food safety, products, and processes.

Oversee supplier audit programs and ensure suppliers meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer-specific quality and regulatory requests.

Monitor quality performance, customer satisfaction, and departmental objectives, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with applicable flavour and fragrance regulations, product quality requirements, and Halal requirements.

Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Assurance team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1), preferably in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management, preferably in the flavour and fragrance, FMCG, food manufacturing, or chemical industries.

Advanced knowledge and practical experience in implementing QMS (ISO 9001), FSMS (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP), GMP, and ISO 22716.

Good understanding of ISO 19011 internal auditing guidelines and experience managing internal audit programs.

Knowledge of flavour and fragrance regulations, regulatory procedures, and Halal Assurance System (HAS) implementation.

Strong understanding of change management, risk assessment, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement.

Good English communication skills and computer literacy.

Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
