Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Total Quality Supervisor to maintain and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs across materials, packaging, and printing labels. You will supervise quality engineers and technicians, provide direction, training, and influence to achieve quality objectives.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Quality or Industrial Management, 5+ years in manufacturing/engineering within garment/textile/printing, and certifications like ASQ preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree, preferrably in Quality or Industrial Management.
• Certified Quality Engineer, Affiliation with ASQ, or related certifications preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing and engineering or related experience in Garment, Textile, Printing Industry with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for quality assurance efforts related to raw material, packaging products and printing labels.
• Handle all customer complaints, non-conformance, customer audits and take corrective actions.
• Analyze and improve quality procedure.
• Follow up all the customer requirements as Trim Cards/Samples.
• Establish Standard Operating Principles (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI) for quality assurance for assigned area.
• Make sure all testings are done as per customer requirement.
• Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
• Do reports/ performance monitoring.
• Develop and update quality and ISO9001 system training programs and train all levels of employees on these systems.
• Provide on- and off-site quality system consultation to all division locations.
• Lead and guide Incoming QC and internal lab team
