Job summary

PT. House Foods Indonesia is hiring a Quality Control professional to perform laboratory testing of materials and products, inspect quality inline, and conduct incoming material checks. You will record results, monitor GMP and food safety, and support investigations into deviations.

The ideal candidate has a D3/S1 in related fields, at least 1 year of QC experience, and proficiency in English. Shift-based manufacturing environment with teamwork responsibilities.

Qualifications

• D3/S1 in Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemical Engineering or Biology.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control.
• Experience in laboratory testing, inline quality control, and incoming inspection.
• Familiar with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems is an advantage.
• Able to operate basic laboratory instruments and perform accurate documentation.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in a shift-based manufacturing environment.
• Conversational English skills are required. Japanese language skills will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Record, analyze, and report test and inspection results accurately and on time
• Ensure all QC activities comply with company procedures, GMP, food safety, and quality standards
• Identify quality deviations and support investigation and corrective actions
• Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, reagents, and QC documentation
• Support calibration, verification, sampling, and other routine QC activities
• Ensure proper implementation of hygiene, safety, and laboratory practices

About you

D3-S1 qualification in Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemical Engineering or Biology

Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control, preferably in the food, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing industry

Experience in laboratory testing, inline quality control, and incoming inspection

Familiar with basic physical, chemical, and/or microbiological testing methods

Understanding of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems is an advantage

Able to operate basic laboratory instruments and perform accurate documentation

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Willing to work in a shift-based manufacturing environment
