Job summary

PT Kode Evolusi Bangsa is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional to join our onsite team in Jakarta. You will perform manual testing, design robust test scenarios, and analyze insurance business workflows to ensure software quality and system reliability.

You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers across the project lifecycle, execute diverse tests (end-to-end, functional, integration, regression, sanity), and document defects and status

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of QA or software testing experience (manual)
• Experience in insurance or financial services sector
• Ability to grasp complex business processes and application flows
• Ability to create structured test cases and bug reports

Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing across web and mobile apps to ensure stability.
• Analyze insurance business flows, requirements, and specs.
• Design, write, and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform end-to-end, functional, integration, regression, and sanity testing.
• Log, track, prioritize, and manage bugs in issue trackers.
• Collaborate with BAs, Developers, and PMs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Validate bug fixes and re-test before production deployment.
• Assist stakeholders and users during UAT.
• Prepare daily testing status reports and defect documentation.
• Participate in daily standups, project syncs, and sprint planning.

Job Descriptions

• Perform end-to-end, functional, integration, regression, and sanity testing.


• Log, track, prioritize, and manage software bugs using issue tracking systems.


• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.


• Validate technical bug fixes and perform re-testing prior to production deployment.


• Assist business stakeholders and end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


• Prepare daily testing execution status reports and defect documentation.


• Participate in daily standups, project syncs, and sprint planning activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


• Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Quality Assurance or Software Tester performing manual testing.


• Hands‑on project experience in the insurance or financial services sector is required.


• Strong ability to quickly grasp complex business processes, system logic, and application flows.


• Demonstrated skill in creating structured test scenarios, test cases, and bug reports.


• Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
