Job summary

PetroSea is seeking a QA/QC Civil and Structure Inspector to join our EPC department in Indonesia. The role focuses on implementing quality management systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and relevant codes across construction and operation phases.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas, familiar with marine construction, and capable of supporting document management and SHE initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with QA/QC focus.
• Minimum 5 years as QA/QC Civil/Structure Inspector in Oil & Gas.
• Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and its implementation.
• Familiar with international codes (ASTM, AASHTO, BS).
• Strong document management and team coordination.
• Fluent in English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day inspection and testing in the project.
• Review documents and inspection records before inspections.
• Perform site surveillance as required.
• Carry out visual inspections, dimension checks, and equipment installation tests.
• Perform testing and calibration to confirm product and process quality.
• Maintain and implement SHE programs in line with ISO standards.

Job description

Prepare and assist implementation of QA/QC function, documents, and deliverables management, by providing support and execution to project and works within EPC department. Main objective is to ensure, maintain, develop, all QA/QC practices are implemented in accordance with company quality policy and relevant Quality Management System compliance.

Education

Bachelor's Degree of Engineering (Civil)

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

• Min. 5 years of experience as QA/QC Civil and Structure Inspectorin Oil and Gas Industries, with thorough comprehensive knowledge for QA/QC practice in construction and operation
• Preferably having familiarity and experiences to QA/QC implementation upon oil and gas sector, marine construction and plant operation sector
• Full comprehensive knowledge for Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2015 and implementation
• Shall be fully conversant with applicable International Codes and Standards (ASTM, AASHTO and BS)
• Thorough understanding for Document Management System
• Team workers and organizing people
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage

Certification

• If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 5.
