Job summary

PetroSea is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to plan, direct, and monitor all QA/QC activities across projects, including vendor and site coordination and inspections. The role requires deep knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, quality tools, and documentation systems; responsibilities include reviewing documents, ITPs, AVL, welding specifications, and SHE programs to drive quality and safety.

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years in construction QA/QC, with Oil & Gas/marine exposure

Qualifications

• Min. 10 year previous experiences in Construction QA/QC execution, with thorough knowledge for QA/QC practice in construction and operation.
• Familiarity with QA/QC implementation in oil and gas, marine construction and plant operation sectors.
• Full knowledge of Quality Management System, ISO 9001 and implementation.
• Good knowledge of Quality Management Tools (e.g. TQM, QCC, SPC, Balanced Scorecard) and dissemination through QMS.
• Thorough understanding of Document Management System.
• Team workers and organizing people.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor all detail tasks of QA/QC function within project and/or corporate, including vendor and site coordinations and inspections.
• Monitor, review and issue project specific documentation such as method statements and ITPs based on project requirements.
• Provide quality input and/or problem resolution to discipline engineers during design and procurement phases or construction supervisors during field construction.
• Review the quality system of new vendors/subcontractors and assess vendor performance; update AVL records.
• Develop, test and qualify project welding specifications including welders/welding operators qualification.
• Maintain and implement SHE programs and SHE Management System to ensure effectiveness and alignment with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards; aim for Target Zero LTI.

Monitor, review and issue project specific documentation such as method statement and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) etc. based on project requirements. Project documentations are successfully monitored and reviewed.

Provide quality input and/or problem resolution to discipline engineers during design and procurement phases or construction supervisors during field construction phase. Engineers are well-disciplined.

Review the quality system of new vendors/ subcontractors and/or conduct the assessment of vendors performance and then prepares/updates the record of Assessed Vendors List (AVL). Quality system is reviewed and updated.

Develop, test and qualify the project welding specifications including welders/welding operators qualification The project welding specifications including welders/welding operators qualification are well-developed.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

• Min. 10 year previous experiences in Construction QA/QC execution which, with thorough comprehensive knowledge for QA/QC practice in construction and operation
• preferably having familiarity and experiences to QA/QC implementation upon oil and gas sector, marine construction and plant operation sector
• Full comprehensive knowledge for Quality Management System, ISO 9001 and implementation
• Good knowledge in Quality Management Tools (e.g. TQM, QCC, SPC, Balance Scorecard, etc.) and disseminate through Project Quality Management System.
• Thorough understanding for Document Management System
• Team workers and organizing people
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage

Certification

• If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 8.
