Job summary

PT Tradecorp Indonesia is seeking a QC Civil/Architectural Inspector to perform on-site inspections of civil and architectural works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and QA/QC standards. You will inspect formworks, reinforcements, concreting, and finishes, while coordinating with construction, planning, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of QC experience on high-rise projects, strong drafting knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture is required.
• 1–3 years of QC civil/architectural experience on building/high-rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specs, and standards.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (or similar software).
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of civil and architectural works including structural, finishing, and external works.
• Verify materials and workmanship comply with approved specs, standards, and drawings.
• Inspect and approve formworks, reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, painting, flooring, and other finishing works.
• Monitor installation of architectural elements and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
• Issue NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review MIR and WIR and maintain records of approved materials and test reports.
• Coordinate with construction, planning, and engineering teams; liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Support QA/QC Manager in implementing the project quality plan.
• Monitor field and laboratory testing of materials (concrete, soil, steel, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with international codes and local regulations (SNI, ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.).
• Identify recurring quality issues and recommend preventive measures.
• Participate in quality audits and assist in root cause analysis for non-conformities.

Conduct daily inspections of civil and architectural works including structural, finishing, and external works.

Verify materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications, standards, and drawings.

Inspect and approve formworks, reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, painting, flooring, and other finishing works.

Monitor installation of architectural elements (ceilings, doors, windows, façade, partitions, etc.).

Ensure compliance with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures.

2. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.

Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and follow up on corrective actions.

Review and verify Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Work Inspection Requests (WIR).

Maintain updated records of approved materials, inspection logs, and test reports.

3. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with construction, planning, and engineering teams to resolve site quality issues.

Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding inspection schedules and approvals.

Support QA/QC Manager in implementing the project quality plan.

4. Testing & Compliance

Monitor field and laboratory testing of materials (concrete, soil, steel, etc.).

Ensure compliance with international codes and local regulations (SNI, ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.).

Verify corrective actions for defects and ensure re-inspection prior to acceptance.

Identify recurring quality issues and recommend preventive measures.

Participate in quality audits and assist in root cause analysis for non-conformities.

Promote a culture of quality awareness among site staff and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in QC Civil/Architectural works for building/high rise projects.

Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and standards.

Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (or similar software).

Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Willing to be placed at site project
