Job summary

PT Korindo Konstruksi is seeking a QA/QC MEP (Mechanical) professional for the Fairfield Hotel Merauke Project in Papua. You will monitor and control the quality of HVAC, piping and related systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, method statements and standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years in QA/QC MEP on building projects; hotel or high-rise experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years QA/QC MEP Mechanical in building/construction.
• Hotel or high-rise project experience preferred.
• Able to read MEP drawings and understand technical specifications.

• Identify NCRs and corrective actions.
• Witness testing and commissioning and ensure documentation for handover.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control the quality of MEP Mechanical works according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.

Inspect HVAC, ducting, piping, plumbing, ventilation, pumps, and other mechanical installations.

Prepare and manage IR, ITP, checklists, inspection reports, and other QA/QC documents.

Conduct material inspections and monitor installation works.

Coordinate inspection and testing with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

Identify and follow up on NCR/non-conformities and corrective actions.

Witness testing & commissioning and ensure proper documentation for project handover.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3-5 years of QA/QC MEP Mechanical experience in building/construction projects.

Experience in hotel or high-rise building projects is preferred.

Good understanding of HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, ducting, ventilation, and testing & commissioning.

Able to read MEP drawings and understand technical specifications.

Familiar with QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willing to be placed in Fairfield Hotel Merauke Project - Papua.
