Job summary

Glints seeks a QA Automation Engineer / SDET for full-time on-site work in Batam, Indonesia. The role focuses on building automated testing solutions, improving QA efficiency, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements include 3+ years in QA automation, Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript, and strong proficiency in web and API testing. The candidate should be self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software testing, QA automation, or SDET roles across multiple SDLC cycles.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven experience with automated functional, UI, API, load, and/or performance testing.
• Experience with Selenium and WebdriverIO, plus CI/CD tooling like GitHub and Jenkins.
• Strong JavaScript programming skills and understanding of RDBMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Automate and improve QA processes to increase testing efficiency and software quality.
• Collaborate with developers and teams to define testing requirements and strategies.
• Conduct automated functional, UI/UX, API, load, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps teams.
• Build and maintain test data, environments, and frameworks.
• Create and share QA documentation and testing procedures.
• Monitor testing metrics to support quality improvements.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date on emerging QA technologies.
