Job summary

CATL in Indonesia seeks a Purchasing Planner to manage procurement for direct and indirect categories, aligning with inventory levels, production schedules and project needs, while overseeing overseas localization of categories. You will evaluate suppliers on price, quality, lead time and reliability, prepare purchase orders and reports, and collaborate with local and international partners.

Proficiency in Excel and English is required; Chinese preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply-chain operations.
• Experience dealing with local and/or international suppliers is an advantage.
• Experience preparing purchase orders, quotation comparisons, and purchasing reports.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, filtering, sorting, and data analysis.
• Experience in lithium batteries or automotive related fields; familiar with manufacturing processes and cost structures.

Job description

Purchasing Planning: Review purchasing requirements based on inventory levels, production schedules, project requirements, and operational needs.

Tracking of the progress of overseas localization of categories;

Supplier Management: Identify potential suppliers and evaluate them based on price, quality, reliability, capacity, lead time, and regularly assess supplier performance.

Process and collect data of suppliers in terms of price, readiness and accuracy of delivery and quality of goods they offer as data to conduct supplier selection.

Overseas project management: localization requirements, dimensions, time nodes, material verification, etc.;

Category localization procurement management (direct and indirect procurement);

Overseas supplier management, overseas category strategy summary support and customer R&R negotiation.

Requirement :

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply-chain operations.

Experience dealing with local and/or international suppliers is an advantage.

Experience preparing purchase orders, quotation comparisons, and purchasing reports.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, filtering, sorting, and data analysis.

Experience in lithium batteries or automotive related fields, Familiar with the automotive manufacturing process and battery material production process, and understand the process and process and cost structure of related parts.

Required language(s): English, Chinese is preferred.
