Job summary

Blibli Electronic Store is expanding its retail footprint across Indonesia. The Project Field Execution role supports the expansion by monitoring construction and renovation work on-site, coordinating workers and vendors, and delivering timely site reports to supervisors.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, or a related field, with on-site supervision experience and willingness to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, or related field.
• Experience supervising on-site workers and coordinating with contractors or vendors.
• Experience monitoring building projects, preferably retail or commercial spaces, with exposure to projects around 200 sqm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to supervise construction and renovation activities, ensuring tasks follow the approved plan.
• Monitor project timelines and compare planned progress against actual site conditions.
• Review construction results against drawings and specs, noting differences.
• Oversee on-site workers and vendors to ensure quality, productivity, and safety.
• Prepare and submit updates on project conditions, progress, and issues to supervisors.
• Travel between project locations to monitor progress and ensure consistency.
• Provide practical recommendations to the Project Team for evaluation and approval.
• Ensure complete documentation including photos, reports, and timeline tracking.
• Communicate updates and findings to supervisors and escalate where needed.

As a Project Field Execution, you will play an important role in supporting our retail expansion by monitoring construction and renovation projects directly at the site. You will be responsible for overseeing workers and vendors, providing up-to-date reports on project progress, and evaluating whether actual site execution aligns with the approved design, specifications, and timeline.

This is a mobile, field-based role that requires frequent visits to multiple project locations. You will work closely with the Project Team to ensure that every project is properly monitored, documented, and completed according to the agreed plan.

What We'll Be Working On Together

• Conduct regular site visits to supervise construction and renovation activities, ensuring workers and vendors execute tasks according to the approved project plan.

• Monitor project timelines and compare planned progress against actual site conditions, identifying delays, deviations, and potential issues.

• Review construction results against approved drawings, layouts, and specifications, highlighting any differences between the original design and actual implementation.

• Monitor on-site worker performance and vendor activities to ensure work quality, productivity, and compliance with project requirements.

• Prepare and submit regular updates on project conditions, progress, challenges, and outstanding issues to the assigned supervisors.

• Understand problems occurring at the site, assess their potential impact, and provide practical recommendations to the Project Team for further evaluation and approval.

• Follow up on minor site improvements and coordinate with relevant workers or vendors to ensure issues are addressed appropriately.

• Ensure each project has complete and updated documentation, including progress photos, site reports, timeline tracking, evaluation forms, and other supporting documents.

• Travel between assigned project locations to monitor progress and ensure consistent execution standards across multiple ongoing projects.

• Communicate project updates, site findings, and recommendations directly to the assigned supervisors and elevate matters requiring further decisions or approvals.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience handling building construction, renovation, or interior fit-out projects and experience supervising on-site workers and coordinating with contractors or vendors.

• Experience monitoring building projects, preferably retail or commercial spaces, with exposure to projects of approximately 200 sqm or similar scale.

• Good understanding of basic civil, architectural, and building construction works.

• Ability to read and understand building drawings, layouts, and technical specifications and ability to monitor project timelines and evaluate planned progress against actual execution.

• Strong reporting and documentation skills, including the ability to provide clear updates supported by site observations and photos.

• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to provide practical recommendations and work collaboratively with supervisors and vendors.

• Must possess a valid SIM A and SIM C, with the ability to drive a car and motorcycle.

• Willingness to travel frequently and conduct site visits across assigned areas.
