SeaOwl Indonesia seeks a Project Engineer (Electrical, Instrument & Automation) to coordinate and deliver electrical, instrument and automation engineering activities for oil & gas EPC projects in Batam.

You will lead material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor coordination and QA/QC tasks, and support fabrication, testing, installation and commissioning with clear documentation across the project lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrument or Electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas or EPC project experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in vendor management and technical bid evaluations.
• Familiar with inspection and testing requirements.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the preparation and review of Material Requisitions / Technical Requirement for purchase requisition.
• Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, instrument, automation, electrical, procurement, QA/QC) and vendors.
• Follow company procedures as defined in the QA/QC Manual.
• Support fabrication, inspection, and testing activities (FAT, SAT, inspections).
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases
• Prepare and/or coordinate any work procedures that are deemed necessary for manufacturing, handling, assembling, or lifting of the equipment according to client requirement.
• Review and resolve technical queries (TQs), NCRs, and deviations at any stage of the project.
• Ensure proper documentation and data management throughout the project lifecycle, including installation, commissioning, start-up, operation and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare notice at change (NOC) to fabricator via Engineering Manager.
• Execute any work related to skills and experience for the Project.

As a Project Engineer (Electrical, Instrument & Automation), you will contribute to the coordination and delivery of mechanical, package and piping engineering activities within project teams.
