Job summary

Nov Inc in Batam is seeking a Project Engineer with a focus on Pressure Vessel fabrication. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review drawings and specs, and drive execution from planning through delivery. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and a track record in EPC/oil & gas projects.

You will monitor progress, optimize resources, and ensure compliance with ASME codes and client specifications, while preparing MTOs and execution plans for timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in Pressure Vessel fabrication, EPC, or Oil & Gas.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings, client specs and fabrication docs.
• Familiarity with ASME codes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate fabrication projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with client specs, engineering requirements, quality standards, and schedules.
• Support PM in monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Optimize execution by managing resources, materials, and fabrication activities.
• Review specifications, drawings, and documents prior to fabrication.
• Prepare MTO, fabrication sequences, and execution plans.
• Coordinate engineering, production, procurement, quality, and logistics across the lifecycle.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in Pressure Vessel fabrication, EPC, or Oil & Gas projects.
• Good understanding of Pressure Vessel fabrication processes, engineering drawings, MTO preparation, and project execution.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, client specifications, and fabrication documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a project environment.
• Experience with ASME codes and Pressure Vessel fabrication will be an advantage.
