Job summary

Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years of electrical engineering experience in solar PV design or installation and a solid ability to read SLDs, coordinate with contractors, and perform testing and commissioning.

WE'RE HIRING - ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (SOLAR PANEL DEPLOYMENT)

Tunas Group is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Electrical Engineer - Solar Panel Deployment.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the design and engineering of PV systems, including solar panel module layouts, inverter configuration, electrical systems, protection, and grounding.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical standards and grid interconnection requirements.
• Supervise field installation, including panel mounting structures, DC & AC cabling, inverters, and protection equipment.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to working drawings, work methods, and K3 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
• Conduct and support system testing, commissioning, and electrical grid integration (grid interconnection).
• Maintain work quality and compliance with safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and review technical documents, including as-built drawings, testing & commissioning reports, and operation & maintenance manuals.
• Support project schedule monitoring and progress reporting.
• Identify technical risks and provide appropriate mitigation solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
• 4-7 years of experience in electrical engineering and solar PV system design or installation.
• Experience in rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of PV system components and design, electrical protection and grounding, as well as grid-tied and off-grid systems.
• Able to read electrical engineering drawings and Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
• Familiar with testing and commissioning processes.
• Able to work in the field and coordinate effectively with contractors.
