UNESCO Regional Office in Jakarta seeks a Project Assistant to support Science Policy and Basic Sciences projects within the Natural Sciences Sector. Under supervision, you will assist with programme implementation, tracking progress, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings and travel.

Indonesian nationals or those with the right to work in Indonesia are preferred. The position is based in Jakarta for 9 months, requiring strong English and MS Office skills to ensure efficient project

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) is desirable.
• Eight years of relevant international experience preferred.
• Experience in project support and financial tracking is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational and technical support to programme management and implementation.
• Assist in tracking, monitoring, and reporting on progress and budget.
• Prepare dockets, reports, presentations, and responses to inquiries.
• Gather, analyze, summarize, and verify information for relevance and accuracy.
• Provide administrative support for meetings, travel, and publications.
• Identify stakeholders, draft invitations, and assist in budget updates for donors.
• Assist in procurement, payments, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain relations with partners and support outreach and fundraising.
