Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor electrical team members with technical guidance.

• Perform FATs and final power-on quality checks.
• Manage production schedules, resources and workflow to meet delivery deadlines while controlling costs.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Project Management for seamless operations.
• Document and report production metrics and performance to senior management.
• Participate in training and stay updated with electrical engineering technologies.

Production Supervisor / Lead Electrical Engineer

About the role

PT CNC Design Batam is seeking a talented and experienced Production Supervisor / Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Batam island, Riau . This is a full-time position that combines technical expertise with supervisory responsibilities, offering a strategic opportunity to lead our electrical engineering operations and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will oversee production activities, manage technical teams, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency across our electrical engineering projects and manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
• Lead and mentor electrical team members, providing technical guidance and fostering professional development
• Review and validate electrical designs, drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
• performing factory acceptance testing (FAT), and conducting final power-on quality checks.
• Manage production schedules, resource allocation and workflow to meet delivery deadlines whilst maintaining cost efficiency
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all team members comply with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Liaise with other departments including Engineering, procurement and project management to ensure seamless operations
• Document and report on production metrics, team performance and operational improvements to senior management
• Participate in training programmes and stay updated with the latest electrical engineering technologies and best practices

What we're looking for

• S1/Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with professional certifications in engineering or supervision preferred
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Well understanding in electrical system standards (UL, IEC, DIN,etc)
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate, manage and develop technical teams effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Solid understanding of electrical safety standards, environmental regulations and occupational health and safety requirements
• Good communication skills in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal

Key Skills:

Deep understanding of industrial controls (Siemens, Omron, Rockwell PLC architectures, CNC controllers, and servo drive dynamics). Must be able to perform continuity, insulation resistance (Megger), and basic functional I/O testing. S1/D3 Degree in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
