Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Proficiency in using production management systems and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Fluency in English is highly desirable.
• Experience in ISO standards and lean manufacturing methodologies is preferred.

About the role SP Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Production Senior Supervisor to join our manufacturing operations team division wire harness. This is a full-time position based in Batam, Kota Riau Islands, where you will take on a strategic leadership role overseeing production activities and leading a team of supervisors and production staff. As a Senior Supervisor, you will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that all production targets are met whilst fostering a safe and productive work environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our manufacturing performance and contribute to the continued success of SP Manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and coordinate with multiple production shifts to ensure targets are met consistently
• Supervise and mentor a team of supervisors and production staff, providing guidance and performance feedback
• Monitor production quality standards and implement corrective actions when deviations occur
• Maintain and enforce health, safety and environmental compliance across the production floor
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
• Manage production scheduling and resource allocation to optimize workflow efficiency
• Conduct regular safety briefings and training sessions for the production team
• Prepare and analyze production reports, including output metrics, downtime analysis and quality data
• Collaborate with other departments including maintenance, quality assurance and logistics to ensure seamless operations
• Address and resolve production-related issues promptly and elevate matters when necessary
