Production Supervisor - Remote Operations Oversight

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations remotely. This role is critical for ensuring production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and team performance is optimized, all from a remote work setup. You will serve as the primary remote liaison between management and shop‑floor teams, driving efficiency and problem‑solving through effective communication and data analysis. This position is ideal for a leader who excels in a virtual environment, possesses strong operational acumen, and is dedicated to fostering a productive and safe work culture across geographically dispersed teams, ensuring operational continuity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote supervision and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and output.
• Implement and enforce company policies, safety procedures, and best practices across all operational shifts.
• Collaborate with planning, logistics, and quality control departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
• Conduct remote performance reviews, provide feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain productivity.

Additional Responsibilities

• Receive review, and process inquiry or shipping instruction from customer/sales/overseas
• Checking cargo data and CIPL for both international and domestic shipment
• Arrange Moda transportation and communication with vendor
• Direct monitoring for loading/unloading cargo for every shipment
• Ensure every loading/unloading are conducted safely and according to customer and Indonesia's law and regulations
• Provide daily report to customers and do daily monitoring with communication with vendor.
• Review import HBL (House Bill of Lading), MBL (Master Bill of Lading) & CIPL (Commercial Invoice & Packing List Docs) from origin office
• Coordinating with airlines, managing AWB (Air Waybill), export/import clearance with airport customs
• Booking with shipping lines, managing SI/SO, VGM submission, port coordination
• Coordination with domestic trucking providers, waybill (Surat Jalan), GPS tracking, POD collection
• Track and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery.
• Submitting manifest in CEISA
• Coordination with Customs Clearance Department for PEB/ PIB
• Provide accounting department with proper and correct billing information.
• Communicate with clients regarding disposition of Freight (i.e. tracking & tracing, routing & dispatching, and rate quotations).
• Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.
• Communicate & correspond with other Company branches and agents for client satisfaction, and ensure excellent service execution.
• Seek the most profitable mode of shipment, yet meet client's requirement for the movement of freight.
• Sending original invoice and supporting documents to customers.
• Help implement Quality, Health, Safety and Environment objectives set up specific for the branch and its operational basis.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team remotely.
• Strong understanding of production planning, workflow optimization, and quality control principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and virtual collaboration tools.
