Job summary

Tume Activewear in Bali seeks a Production & Procurement Specialist to own the end-to-end garment production and sourcing pipeline from sampling to final delivery. You will coordinate with local factories, negotiate pricing, monitor costs, ensure quality, and maintain supplier relationships while contributing to a fast-scaling brand.

Based in Bali or willing to relocate, you’ll manage multiple suppliers, coordinate sample development, and drive continuous improvements in the production process

Qualifications

• Experience in garment, apparel, or activewear production/sourcing.
• Comfortable negotiating and communicating with factories and suppliers in Indonesian.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for costing and tracking.

PRODUCTION & PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST - TUME ACTIVEWEAR

ABOUT US
Tume Activewear is a growing women's activewear brand — think seamless sports bras, compression leggings, and performance basics built on our own signature fabric tech (SeamlessFlow, UltraSoft, SuperSculpt). We ship worldwide and run on a scheduled drop cadence, so production timing isn't flexible — it's the backbone of how we launch.

We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Production Purchasing to own our production and sourcing pipeline from sampling to final delivery.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (day-to-day)
Production Coordination

Coordinate production from sampling to bulk, following up with manufacturers on timelines and progress

Manage sample development, revisions, and approvals

Catch and solve production issues before they become delays

Sourcing & Procurement

Source fabrics (including technical/compression/seamless-knit materials), trims, packaging, and labels

Find, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable local manufacturers and suppliers

Request quotations, negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and lead times

Maintain a supplier database and track performance; find alternatives when needed

Quality Control

Coordinate quality checks during production against approved samples and specs

Flag defects early and coordinate corrections before shipment

WHAT YOU'LL ALSO HANDLE (supporting responsibilities)

Prepare production cost calculations and track material/production costs against budget

Monitor inventory levels and purchasing requirements

Maintain production and purchasing records; prepare weekly status reports for management

Communicate clearly and proactively with both suppliers and internal team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience in garment, apparel, or activewear production/sourcing — this is a must, not a nice-to-have. If you've worked with seamless knitwear or technical/performance fabric, tell us.

Comfortable negotiating and communicating directly with factories and suppliers in Indonesian

Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for costing and tracking

Organized enough to run multiple suppliers and orders at once without dropping the ball

Able to work independently, spot problems early, and solve them without hand-holding

Based in Bali or willing to relocate; open to factory visits when needed
