Job summary

PT. Softex Indonesia is seeking a Production Scheduling Specialist to optimize daily and weekly plans at the Karawang plant. You will coordinate shopfloor activities, ensure component availability, and drive on-time execution against the master schedule.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, 2–5 years in production scheduling, and proficiency with IFS ERP, Excel, and APS. Based in Karawang, you will work closely with operations to improve cycle times and changeover efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's in Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in production scheduling/shopfloor planning.
• Proficiency in IFS ERP (MRP, routes, work orders); strong in Excel and familiar with APS.

Responsibilities

• Create daily/shift schedules per line, honoring changeover matrices, labor, QA, and maintenance windows.
• Issue work orders, confirm actuals, manage deviations and re-sequencing within 1 week frozen fence.
• Verify component availability (MRP exceptions) and escalarat shortages for materials readiness.
• Sequence SKUs to minimize time and waste (changeover optimization).
• Track plan vs actual, downtime reasons, and replan frequency with accurate confirmations.
• Propose run-rule updates to support SMED and schedule stability.

• Materials Readiness: Verify component availability (MRP exceptions in IFS); escalerat shortages.
• Changeover Optimization: Sequence SKUs to minimize time/waste (size/design/material families).
• Execution & Reporting: Track plan vs actual, downtime reasons, replan frequency; update confirmations accurately.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose run-rule updates (cycle times, changeover standards), support SMED and schedule stability.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's in Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in production scheduling/shopfloor planning.
• Proficiency in IFS ERP (MRP, routes, work orders); Strong in Excel and Familiar with APS.
