Job summary

PT Indo Kreasi Grafika (IKG) in Batam is seeking a Production Planner to thoroughly understand the production process and manage schedules for on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will track production progress, update planning based on machine capacity, coordinate with the production team, and control inventory to meet due dates and reduce costs. Additionally you will revise plans for urgent requirements and ensure materials and resources are ready to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Experience as Production Planner, Production Scheduler or Material Planner.
• Knowledge in ERP System.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of production procedures and analytics.

This role involves understanding the production process thoroughly and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. You will track production progress, update planning based on machine capacity, coordinate with the production team, and manage inventory efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Understand production process thoroughly and have reasonable expectations as to what can be accomplished in a certain timeframe

Track the progress of production to ensure they remain on schedule

Update planning based on machines capacity and coordinate with production team to ensure running as per plan and achieve daily targets

Manage manufacturers' necessary inventory levels

Run planning based on PO received from customer to reduce inventory cost

Manage production plan based on due date to meet delivery as per customer request to improve customer satisfaction

Ensure that materials and internal resources for production are ready so production can run smoothly

Revise schedules as needed if suddenly any urgent requirement arises

About you

Minimum 3 years' experience

Proven working experience as a Production Planner, Production Scheduler or Material Planner

Knowledge in ERP System

Command of English and Bahasa knowledge - both oral and written

Understanding of production procedure

Analytical skill

Team player with strong communication skills
