Job summary

PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya is seeking a Mining Operations Supervisor to monitor and control all mining activities, ensuring alignment with safety and operational standards.

You will conduct regular site inspections, collect and analyse production and safety data, and prepare detailed reports for management and regulators. Collaboration with site teams is essential to implement corrective actions and improvements.

Qualifications

Monitor and control all mining operations activities to ensure they align with established safety and operational standards

Conduct regular inspections of mining sites, equipment, and facilities to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with regulations

Collect and analyse operational data to track production metrics, efficiency rates, and safety performance

Prepare detailed monitoring reports and documentation for management review and regulatory submissions

Identify and report any deviations from operational procedures or safety protocols

Collaborate with site supervisors and operational teams to implement corrective actions when issues are identified

Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities, inspections, and incidents

Ensure environmental compliance and monitor adherence to environmental management plans

Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within mining operations

What we're looking for

Proven experience in mining operations monitoring, control, or a related supervisory role within the mining industry

Strong knowledge of mining operations, equipment, and standard operational procedures

Solid understanding of mining safety regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and industry standards

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify anomalies and potential issues

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in data collection and reporting, with familiarity with monitoring systems and software

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document findings clearly

Physical capability to work in challenging mining environments and perform site inspections

Relevant mining certifications or qualifications are highly desirable

Experience with compliance documentation and regulatory requirements in mining operations
