Midas Talent Match is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily production operations in a can factory and component manufacturing environment in Cikupa, Tangerang. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field.
• 5–8 years of manufacturing experience, incl. 2–3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role.
• Experience in can manufacturing, packaging, metal forming, or components manufacturing.

Position: Production Manager - Production Department

WE ARE HIRING | PRODUCTION MANAGER

Midas Talent Match is looking for an experienced and hands‑on Production Manager to lead production operations and drive productivity, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Location: Cikupa, Tangerang

Working Days: Monday-Saturday

Reports to: Factory Manager / Director / General Manager

Travel: Not required

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for managing daily production operations, translating PPIC plans into effective production execution, optimizing manpower and machine utilization, and ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and operational discipline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily production operations for can factory & components manufacturing
• Execute production plans and schedules from PPIC
• Optimize manpower allocation, machine utilization, and production flow
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are achieved
• Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, and machine utilization
• Reduce rejects, rework, waste, and operational losses
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Lead and develop supervisors, line leaders, and operators
• Maintain discipline, productivity, and accountability across the production team
• Coordinate with PPIC, QA/QC, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments
• Develop and improve SOPs, work instructions, and production control systems
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, cost control, and process stability
• Prepare production reports and improvement recommendations for management

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field
• 5-8 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory position
• Experience in can manufacturing, packaging, metal forming, or components manufacturing is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of production planning, manpower planning, and process efficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
• Proven ability to lead large production teams through supervisors and line leaders
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
• Firm, disciplined, detail-oriented, and results-oriented

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should:

• Have experience in can manufacturing or related industrial production
• Be capable of managing approximately 100 workers through supervisors and line leaders
• Have a hands‑on approach to solving production-floor problems
• Be able to balance productivity, quality, manpower control, and discipline
• Be mature and capable of making sound operational decisions
• Have sufficient technical knowledge to understand machine/process issues and take quick action
